Beach Walk ...

Ok, this weather photo isn't in the UK, rather Florida, but the BBC has provide some amusing sayings on a dreary chilly spring day:

• sporatic unreliable rain
• best preserved ruin

So out we went to experience the UK weather along the coast ...

The shoreline is dotted with chalk and flint from the cliffs - but here it looks like a path 

through this beach chalk - almost like a turtle visited ... or did she??

smuggling was once rampant in these parts - tunnels through the cliffs were handy and again used to shelter during WWII.

now what to do with all the beach finds - put them in a quilt of course!  See the sea shells on this one?  Hint look just below the blue water ... as displayed at the Sandown Quilt Show.
