Woodpecker Infestation ...

Hubby's latest joke is to say the builders sound like wookpeckers.  I say then we have an infestation - happily I guess as that means they are getting on with the job.  Today the stairs go in - it was supposed to be last week and 4 weeks before that, but hey .... So instead we distracted ourselves with things London has to offer including ...

First we went to the mind bending - well actually eye bending Twist Museum (The Way I See Things). It is hard to describe and take pictures, but here's one from Dan-Weill-Photography on thenudge.com.  As if we didn't have enough mind bending going on you may say -----

Another day on to the Van Gogh Immersive Experience (I later found there are a number of these exhibitions as variations on a theme going round in various parts of the world). It is located in the former 19th century Truman stable building near Brick Lane on the east side of London.

The exhibit contains moving images some projected on four walls and the floor -- including a waterfall and a train.

We ended our visit with lunch at Players Social in Spitalfields Market. This table shuffleboard reminds us  -- in a way -- of our Florida Shuffleboard days (played on the ground outside)!
