Social Sand Hopper Roundup

Pretty Spotted Oleander Caterpillar Moth seen around and about.

Pelicans patrolling drawbridge
crab hole right at tide line
crabbing is a popular night time sport
News & sights from the social sand hopper (as one friend has named mini me after discovering she was triple booked for events one Saturday) - so much to do and see around the beach and sis is visiting.

John's Pass, the pelicans are busy feeding
look closely & you see the filleted fish

Egret with tasty morsel in his beak
This mama turtle crawled way up into the dunes - what an effort!
Anyone for a paddle?
beach today without the pine trees
or a spot of net fishing - they caught
a crab and lots of [small silver] bait fish
beach as it looked before 1960s big freeze
killed most of the Australian Pines
as seen from the Beer Cruise

Jumping silver fish (Tarpon)
probably jumping for joy at seeing
mini me!

Mini Me on Sunset Beer (& wine) Cruise
prepared for all eventualities with her own flotation device.
Thanks CB!
