All Packed Up and Nowhere to Go: Quick Update

It is Monday the 1st September, Labor Day in the USA and a holiday (similar to 1 May in UK).

We keep looking, but No Turtles - yes those are my tracks in the sand to the nest.

No Flooring/Carpets - after we scrubbed, cleaned and packed up all day Saturday, we found the carpet retailer  'lost' the carpets in the warehouse so couldn't lay the flooring this weekend .  . . mini me is beginning to wonder if we will ever move in properly!




Some bring the whole house with them!
So literally feels like 'all packed up with no where to go!'  It is 91⁰ F (33⁰ C), sunny, humid and feels like 103⁰ (39.5⁰ C) according to the weather channel.  Tried to clean the car windscreen (windshield); it is so hot that the car windows are scorching and burn to the touch - darn!   Must head to the beach.

Ah, except mini me just painted the front door and we have to leave it open for four (4) hours to dry ... so that leaves beaching watching as our activity for the afternoon.

Beach Fishing
We could try scavenging for gold as some do --

Metal Detecting
or fishing or tubing or boating or jet skiing or kite surfing -- or play corn toss (old farming game similar to horseshoes) or best of all doing nothing at all!

Note:  Our overnight temperatures are warmer than the forecasted London high!

    Ah ..... I'm sorry its not going to plan ...... I'm looking at the images and thinking how lucky you are to be where you are but I know it will all be getting you down as you feel like your whole life is on hold. BUT it really will work out OK. Keep enjoying your view , enjoy the down time while it lasts - in a few months when life is back to its major busy self you'll look back and think it wasn't so bad after all - take care Mini Me - chin up - and say hi to Ellen and Philip - can't believe they are making you do all the work - hope you managed the top of the door OK without falling off the ladder - I've actually no idea how you even lifted the brush to be fair. :) (hehe)
