Before and [well partly] After

Spent most of Wednesday & Thursday trying to clean up after the workman and the mess the flooring guys left behind on baseboards, walls, doors (glue, leveller, etc). 

Now awaiting delivery of furniture in storage, already over 1/2 hour later than stated time.

Mini me is watching the blue heron who is watching the fishing folks this morning, hoping for an easy breakfast.

So here's the BEFORE -- good reminder of how it used to be - you cannot see in pictures the yucky carpet, banged up walls, grotty kitchen and cabling over doors.

<--- AND sort of AFTER TA DAH!!! -->  Furniture arrived at 9:45, they finished with our 28 items from storage by noon.

I now have a sofa although one leg was snapped in storage so movers stabilised it with a can

oops, one leg snapped

of beans so we can use it until it is repaired.  Few other bits of damage so cannot yet fully unpack from those suitcases ...but am very glad to see my things again.
